Guitar Strap Models Used By Jimi Hendrix

We are going to speak a little bit about about Jimi Hendrix, the most famous Festivals that he performed , and The Guitar straps That He was using during his most famous music festivals. The big concerts of Jimi, with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Cry Of Love Band, The Band Of Gypsies, were during  1967 and 1970. During these years, many musicians and guitarists were dressing Ace guitar straps. These are too widely used by Jimi.

The Monterey International Pop Festival

Was the first big appearance after Jimi come back to the US. The Jimi Hendrix Experience performed in Monterey on the evening, Sunday 18th, 1967.

Brian Jones introduced Jimi Hendrix to the audience and Jimi performed Killing Floor, Foxy Lady, Like a Rolling Stones, Rock Me Baby...

Hendrix Strap Used In Monterey Pop Festival

There is another guitar strap pattern  also used by Hendrix, with a geometric pattern and vibrant colors. You can see here in Several different colors, the Blue Hendrix Guitar Strap , the same pattern but with red colors, the Red famous Hendrix guitar strap, and finally also the same pattern but with green colors, the Hendrix guitar strap Green .This strap pattern was also used by Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin's guitarist.

The Woodstock Music and Art Fair, 1969

From August 15 to 18.  This is probably the most famous concert from the Flower Power Era.  A lot of stars and musicians performed in Woodstock: Ravi Shankar, Joan Baez, Carlos Santana, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, The Who... And more groups and artists. Really the very best at those times.
Jimi Hendrix performed to a crowd of 200.000 people his great hits: Voodoo Chile, Foxy Lady, Red House, Spanish Castle Magic, and more. And Also his magnificent version of the Star Spangled Banner.

The guitar strap that Jimi was worn in Woodstock, it's probably the most iconic Strap used by Jimi. A lot of fans of Hendrix keep in our mind the image of Jimi with his white Stratocaster with the big headstock, popular in the late 60s.

The Original Jimi Hendrix Woodstock guitar strap was made with red colors. This strap model was also used by John Lennon, Johnny Cash, Elvis Prestley, John Lennon...

There are too the same pattern inspired in the Original Woodstock strap, but with different colors: the Blue Woodstock Hendrix Guitar Strap and the Green Woodstock Jimi Hendrix guitar strap.
